I just gave away a kilt

.....to one of the guys in a lab upstairs that swears he's serious about coming out and throwing with us. He's got the build for it. It's an old solid black 2004 model Stillwater that I got off of ebay. It doesn't have sewn-down pleats in the fell and the belt loops are BELT loops, not sporran loops. It does have a mess of pleats, though. I bet it's at least a 6 yard. I just never wear it any more.

He seems pretty interested...says he'll come to our Nor Cal Rabble Beer and Kilts night, and will bring the kids, so Panache and the F.H.C.A.G, Tristan and Xena might have someone to play with. He's got a belt and hiking boots, just have to get him that budget Stillwater Sporran and he's stylin'.

Just my little catalyst to get another guy into kiltedness! Maybe it'll buy me some kilted karma points!

    Good work, Alan!

They've got the Nightstalker black nylon sporran in stock again. Then he'd really be stylin'.

Yeah! Another recruit. I presume you will also introduce him to XMTS.

I gave my son David one of my UKs and is hoooked and is wearing it to his work every day. I have four more UKs, I never wear them any more so I told him if they fit well enough he is welcome to them. I also gave him a cheap sporon I got with another kilt on Ebay.

Congrats, I just might have a stillwater sporran I can part with if my buddy hasn't stole it.

<edit> sorry I just called him about it and he says its packed up cause he just moved and has no clue where it is. AKA I'll never see it again
