Vancouver kilts night update

We had a kilts night at Wolf and Hound last night and It was a success. Every one had fun and we will head out to Wolf and Hound again in the future.

The next Vancouver Kilts night is going to be on September 6th at Doolin's Irish Pub in Downtown Vancouver. Halifax Wharf Rats will be performing at 9.

The Fraser Valley Kilts Night is going to be on September 28th at Dublin's Cross in Surrey. Kiltangus will be performing that night.

The Wizard of BC is graciously trying to rouse the Victoria area rabble for the one night I'll be in Victoria, soon. I'm arriving on the BC Ferry sometime on Tuesday evening, Sep 4th (I'm hoping to catch the 1700 ferry). Then I'll be shipping out on the 6th on the 1500 Coho Ferry.

Any chance the kilt night on the 6th could be combined with what Steve is putting together?

Sounds like there's a fine rabble up there & I'd enjoy meeting as many of you as possible.

I would love to try and make the trip over to Victoria Retro Red, but given that it is a Wednesday (and the first week back at school for the kids) and that the ferry ride each way is around $40 from the mainland, It's not looking too likely.

Have a great time though. Steve is a great host and the Victoria locals (Ok, Mikey and Shelly are not locals, but still great people) are a great bunch of folks.
