    DO:

    SHOW UP!

(My problem in my attempts to "normalize" my father's views on kilts -as discussed in a previous thread- is to have more than one other person show up.)

Every thing is fine, and I model this post after the kilt do's and don'ts thread. I am really looking forward to the Vancouver kilts night this thursday.

    1. DO Try and preplan as much as possible. Try to let everyone in your area know what you're planning on doing, and that "should" help increase your attendance.

    2. DO Talk to the Bar, or business, that you are having a kilt night at ahead of time to let them know that you will be coming in if possible. Unless you are "highjacking" another bar, it's usually a good idea to let the owner/manager know.

(P.S. Highjacking another bar is A LOT of fun. It's when you go somewhere that you KNOW you will be completely out of place. For example, here in Arizona we've gone to a Snobbish Scottsdale Bar in our kilts just for the hell of it. It was quite amusing)
