    Kilted Strong Men

I friend of mine sent me this link. It's about Jón Páll Sigmarsson, one of the strongest men who lived.
The clip features a contest that occured in the Highlands to determine exactly who was strongest.

One of the more interesting competitions for these goliaths appears to be who can hold a Claymore outstreched in one hand for the longest.

    Here's the link.

My wife is Swiss and German, that said she loves the strongman contests. It runs in her blood to be with a manly man, so as if competitive fighting wasn't enough, she has spent the last several years talking me into doing strongman events.

I'm big, but those guys are freakin huge. With the Kilts arrival though I guess I could compete in the local Highland games, but even those guys huge most days. How odd it is to feel small when I stand 6' and weigh 250lbs.

Those strongmen are inspiring. They hold the ability to make big guys feel like little kids around super heroes.

    Thanks for the link.

    Absolutely fantastic.
I was lucky enough to see the demo they did in Glasgow in the run up to that even when I was 4.
That's when I decided I wanted to be a huge, manly man.
    I'm still working on it.
