My SWK Standard Night Stalker has arrived....
Well it showed up today. SWK Standard Nightstalker Tartan. I have just taken it out onf the box and wrapped it around me for waist sizing. It is perfect. I love the look and feel of the fabric. Basting stitches seem to be a little snug and are pulling through the fabric in spots, but as I am short of stature... 5'6" I will probably be having my seamstress hem it , so it shouldnt be a problem. Woo hoo!!!! So far so good. If my seamstress cant hem those spots where the basting has pulled the fabric, I may have to send it back, but lets hope not. I'll try to send pics later.....

Update, my seamstress says hemming the kilt should not be a problem, and that will take care of my issues with the basting pulling through.....phew

Hope you enjoy. Ironic that you should get the Nightstalker in the land of the midnight sun.

Ah, but every coin has two sides... in summer we do have 20 plus hours of daylight. In winter... near solstice we have 20 plus hours of darkness.... perfect for the "Nightstalker"..... Oh, but that covering of white snow may make it not so good for stalking... stick out like a sore thumb!
I cant wait for the hem on this kilt... folks at work are already asking when I am going to wear it....

You do know that the basting stitches are supposed to come out, right?
Convener, Georgia Chapter, House of Gordon (Boss H.O.G.)

Yep, thanks.... I sure do, though had it not for reading it here previously, I may have been stumped.

I liked my first SWK right off the bat too. You may really fall in love when you machine wash it, hang it out and it's good as new!
Enjoy --
