Reet Pleat for Macdonald of Sleat?

One of my next kilts will be the Macdonald of Sleat. I'm soliciting advice from you all, kiltmakers especially, on the pleating options. I tend to facor pleating to the stripe, but am open. here are some examples I've put together, poor though they may be, with the cloth that I have now (5 meters double-wide). How does the membership vote?

    Red bar (no stripe)

    Broad Green Stripe

Next up: Campbell ancient (when my battery recharges)

My vote is for the red. But with that much material, you could have two 4yd box pleats or 5yd knife pleats, or one of each.

    Green.

The red is just "too much."

I personally like the Red ... but as MacWage said, it is a LOT of red.

I think the green will provide some much-needed relief to the dominance of the red.

The green. I almost pleated the Robertson Red that I'm working on now similarly (went with the sett, though - this time).
