What Matt said. I have links to all their web sites here, as well as a calendar of Games for the year in the region:

Fayetteville-> eastern NC, near the coast
Waxhaw-> right near Charlotte
Foothills-> Western, NC mountains
So, one should be relatively close.
For the future, there is an Andrews, NC games (western NC) in early Sept., which was 2.5 weeks ago. There are also SEVERAL games in the spring in various parts of NC.

I live in Winston Salem. I attended the games held here in the Spring. The information you have shared is very helpful. Thank you!

If you are near the Virginia border, The Richmond Highland Games are October 27 and 28 this year. Once again, Richmond is the site of the North American Highland Games Championship.

The Hendersonville games are definitely a possibility. I need to look at my work calendar as weekends for pastors are very busy; however, it sounds like a good opportunity to take a break with the family and possibly where one of my kilts for the first time. I'll let you know soon what we decide.
