    Kilt in the Bleachers

Think I might wear my Stewart Hunting to my nephews' high school soccer match tonight.
Why not? The team colors are in the tartan, the weather is perfect for it, and (most of all) I feel like.

Why Not?! Look at it this way, you'll be supporting the team and raising kilt awareness.

I think you should, and you will look great in the Black Stewart IMHO.

    school colors

My son has worn my Stirling / Banockburn kilt to school and and I have worn it at a couple of his games as his school colors are purple and gold.

I have recieved all types of comments regarding showing "school spirit." My wife doesn't care too much for me wearing it to games and sitting in the bleachers, though, she says that I might be too distracting to the other players Grammas! (Those redheads!!! You gotta love 'em!!!)

I think a kilt would look perfectly natural at a soccer game--or should I say a football game.

Most definitely! Being kilted at sporting events is fun. Take pictures!

Easy -- being stateside you should know better than to confuse brave young athletes with those who wear a ton o' pads and take little breaks every few seconds to "huddle up" and talk about their feelings. _ducks_for_cover_

I recently wore my weathered MacKenzie SWK standard to a match. Pretty positive reactions all around. One lady with a UK accent did ask me what tartan I was wearing and what my family connection to it was. Once I passed the interrogation she was very nice.

I think you should have a grand time.

Once wore my black survival UK to Portland International Raceway when I visited to watch the late evening drag races. Worked fine.

It's always good to wear the team colors in the tartan when attending a sporting event. I plan on wearing a Loud MacLeod to a Bruins game next month.
