Loch Hartwell Games October 6
So who amongst the SEKS cast is coming to Hartwell? It's about 35-40 minutes from Greenville, and 90 minutes Northeast of Atlanta. Hartwell are a small but highly friendly games in a rural setting. Very safe for kids, who can be allowed to wander. Not dry by any means, unlke some others I've been to. It's held on private property.
Cavscout and I will be there selling out respective leather goods, so I offer our tent as the logical meeting place. Does 1:30 pm for the group picture sound OK?

I'll be there competing in the Heavy Athletics. Not sure what time I'll be able to get around and check out your tent.
Let Cavscout know that I'm interested in a sporran belt and some sporran hangers in black, btw.

Well then I'm going to be going on Saturday.
I usually hang along the sidelines to watch the heavy athletics. I'm looking forward to seeing the women's competition again this year.

I just read over on the NASGA message board that they didn't have enough interest from the women for a competition so it was dropped. I believe only 2 had confirmed they would be there. They might do a demo or something, I'm not sure.

That sucks. Last year one of the women came within an inch of breaking the world record.... I was looking forward to seeing her compete again this year.

I agree. Even though they can out throw me by a mile, I still enjoy seeing them compete. :-)
