Kilted Friday
This Kilted Friday found me off from work visiting Colonial Williamsburg. I would be attending the Williamsburg Scottish Festival on Saturday. I toured Williamsburg and Jamestown in my Gordon SWK thrifty and made quite the stir. This young lady from Oman stopped me and asked to have a photograph of me with her. It caused an international incident because she would be one of several young female foreign visitors wanting a photo with me. Ah, the power of the kilt!

That is sooo beautiful...tears on my keyboard from the beauty. I love Williamsburg and its been far too long since I've been there. For you to stand tall in the House of Gordon colors just enhances it all.
Hope that Scottish store is still there and you got some time to browse their wares.

Aye, Ron. And spent some money there, too! The salesman asked if I was okay for hose; I was wearing ankle athletic socks with my walking shoes!

Thought about calling you about lunch Friday, guess it would have done me no good! Glad to see and hear that you had a good time down there. I had my second kilted Friday at my POE, and Dottie and I lunched at the Subway near the lab. Main reason I didn't call you is that my boss was in New York, and we wouldn't have been able to plan something very accurately. Maybe this coming kilted Friday! We did go to Warrneton Saturday for Heritage Day. I wound up marching in the parade with our lunch buddy Jim from last week and the local Scottish society. Had a good day. Hope to see you again soon.

Way to go Paul! Saturday sounds like an awesome day for you and Jim. This Friday is the last First Friday for the season. Do you want to meet downtown after work? Maybe Jim can catch up with us? Wadda you say?

I'd love to, Ern. Can't really give you a 100% at this point. I'll be in touch later this week, and we'll see.
