What I thought was interesting was the owner of a furniture store in Bean Town, offered free furniture to all their customers if the Red Sox won the World Series...Poor fella (and I do mean poor).

But he saved his best dancing - and wardrobe change, putting the kilt over his jeans - for the largest crowd which packed City Hall Plaza, the end of the parade.
Over his jeans?!? Well, I guess it's a start...

Did he say what furniture would be free. I may be cardboard boxes with a piece of cloth over top - like the matching end tables I had in college.

?usak?
Rocky had a post several days back mentioning to watch out for the post game celebration. I didn't think much about it at the time, but now I think that these must have been USAKilts from Rocky.
Promoting the kilt in MLB is always a good thing. Think the Red Sox might make that part of the uniform? Might be tough to slide.

They had insurance to cover themselves if the Red Sox won. It may be difficult for them to take out another similar policy....

That kind of promotion has been around a long time. The only one that loses is the insurance company, and I have a hard time feeling sorry for insurance companies, ever...
