SOKS Kayaking the Grand
How many SOKS kayak or canoe? I have spent many an hour kayaking on the Grand River but only short 10 - 15 km stretches. I have never gone the entire 300 km stretch and have always dreamed of doing it. From the white water up in Elora (just outside of Fergus - CCK territory) to Port Maitland on Lake Erie (Improv1 territory). So who wants to do a kilted expedition next year (perhaps late spring)? It will take a few days so there will be camping but in my kayak I could take about 100lbs of beer and a couple of sandwiches. For those who don't have the experience of white water (like myself) one could always 'tube' down the rapids. I will research this and will rebump next year closer to the date.
