I am looking for a cleaners in Fort Worth.

I live in Fort Worth, Texas & need to find a cleaners who can clean and press a kilt. The last cleaners I went to did not do a good job. I need to clean & press my Nightstalker SWK standard kilt.

    Thanks

Isn't the acrylic washable? (I could be way off...)

I would not take an acrylic kilt to a cleaners, just wash it let it hang to dry, then press it yourself, use a cloth between the kilt and the iron or you could damage the fabric.

Yes, they are machine-washable (gentle cycle only), hang dry, touch up with a warm iron if needed. Dry clean for best results.

I need the pleats redone because they do not look good right now. Also I am not that good or patient with an iron.

There has to be at least one pipeband in an area the size of Dalles / Ft. Worth. Find them and ask who they use.

Check to see if there is a place that rents kilts in DFW. If so, go see them and ask where they have their kilts cleaned. I'm pretty sure that law requires that things be cleaned between each rental. The place that they use should be familiar with doing kilts.

Having said that, I have several SWK standards now, and have washed and pressed most of them. You really don't need to get a SWK standard dry cleaned...... but suit yourself.
