I'm a Character in a Murder Mystery

This year for our organization's Christmas party, they are going to have a murder mystery, one involving the murder of Santa. I've been picked/volunteered to be a suspect. My character is Gibson Downs, a sales representative for the local newspaper and apparently, my wife had a thing for the big guy. We are supposed to come in costume, so I'm considering making him a Scottish immigrant; I wonder if I can change his name

. Now I have to see if I can come up with a passable accent.

Well, we had the mystery and i was innocent. I found out a lot of people thought I was the guilty party because of my jealousy about my wife. Also, my only alibi was that I was in the "little boys room" at the time of the murder.

I'm told I did a decent Scottish accent, but I'm not sure. To me, it sounded more like an American trying to do a Scottish/Irish/British accent.

Well, I've only got one pic and it doesn't show the kilt.

I had to take a photo with a coworker (who I promised, if she ever divorces her husband, that I would run away to the islands with her

) who played one of the female parts. As part of her costume, she applied lots of extra padding, so she had lots of "junk in the trunk". Unfortunately, the photo didn't show that either.

It was taken very quickly in a crowded room.

Sounds like a lot of fun, my wife has a game called how to host a murder. Sounds like basically the same concept, we are waiting till after the holidays to invite people over and play. It is designed to be done with five couples at a dinner party.
