I give my personal pledge that if you show up and do NOT wish to dance, I will defend your right to sit down and eat all the finger food.

Would anyone wish to go out into the public after the festivities and invade an establishment?

Man, I would love to attend, I've heard the Scottish Country Dancers are great to watch...Are they the Austin SCD's or they from the Royal Scottish Dancers Society? Unfortunately, I'm 9000+ miles away.

What?? No Scottish dancing in Iraq??? Unheard of!!

I don't know if we are fun to watch, but we usually have a blast, what with running into each other and getting confused in the middle of the dance. I guess that is the fun part to watch...

Well, we joined the Dallas and Fort Worth Scottish Country Dancers, as both groups were dwindling in numbers. Ran an ad in the Dallas Morning News to get new recruits. Pretty good turn-out, if I do say so myself!

Of course I shall take pictures! Hopefully, you will get a really good sense of the chaos in dance form.

I'm sorry that I missed this outting, it sounds like a really fun evening. I didn't see the post until too late to go. Hopefully next time I will see it in time to attend.

I was just being lazy....now you are going to guilt me into downloading, then uploading, then posting.....sigh.....

It was a fun time! About 17 in all. Food, wine, kilted, sashed, poems, songs...whoops, forgot to get one of me and my banjo! maybe that is a blessing.
