Well, I had something else planned for the 8th, but it's not set in stone. If we can get some folks together I'm up for it. Since we already did Brewers Alley, maybe we should do Barley and Hops this time.

Tammy and I are tenatively up for this. She is currently in Oklahoma visiting her family and returns Friday evening. I'm assuming she will be up for it since she has both Sat. and Sun. to rest from her vacation. I'll check with her this evening when she calls. We were talking about going to Duclaw Brewing in Bel Aire that evening but a kilt night at Barley and Hops sounds even better.

I"m afraid that we'd have to miss this one. We have two Christmas parties to attend that night so couldn't get away. Oddly we do have the 15th free but don't shift this on my account. So far it looks like this is good for the rest of you guys.

Actually, I could do either the 8th or the 15th.

I'm tied up on the 15th which is why I suggested the 8th. I suggest though that it be which ever night get the highest turn out.

Sorry I can't make it (again!). I'll keep watching for a closer-in-to-DC location. Or maybe propose my own one of these months. And then actually be in town there to organize it.

Do you know any place in the northern part of Montgomery County (NMC)? It has been to long since my misspent youth and running around between Baltimore, Laurel, DC and Frederick. If there is a place in NMC it could draw the peolpe from Frederick, Westminister, York, Baltimore and the Northern DC/VA area. I just don't know of any.

My bride said she will call Barley and Hops tomorrow and see about reservations at 7PM for 8. For those that do not know Frederick, Barley and Hops is on Route 355 next the the Francis Scott Key Mall. DO NOT go through the mall to get to the restaurant. In the past traffic in the mall has been very bad. If you come from the south and exit Route 270 on to Route 85 go past the Mall and turn right onto Grove Road. Turn Right from Grove Road onto Route 355 and B&H is about 1.5 miles on the left.

Definitely do not go through the mall this time of year, unless of course you want to visit the mall beforehand.
The directions off the exit are actually much easier. When you come off I-70, use the Route 85/Route 355/Market Street exit. Then go directly south on Route 355 and directly down to Barley and Hops on the left. You don't have to use Route 85 at all. Just follow the signs for Route 355.
