With Grandson
Here's a shot of me with my favorite 11 year old grandson, after we finished the Scottish Christmas Walk in Alexandria VA on Saturday. Taken outside of Gadsby's Tavern.

This is the fourth time I've done the Walk, always have a ball. The kids love the "Scottish Santa".
When we headed back to the car for the ride home, I asked Zach if he wanted to change back into pants for the ride, he opted to stay in the kilt. We caused a bit of a stir in a Cracker Barrel in Maryland on the way home.
The trip must have made a good impression on my grandson, he already wants to go back next year.

What a great idea. I'm sure you had more fun than your grandson since being with the grandkids is a treat for us old folks.

Our family attends black powder "Rendezvous". At these events, he's worn a kilt since before he was housebroken. I believe this is the first time he's worn a kilt other than at a living history event.

My personal favorite is chocolate chip. They help me watch my waistline (they keep it out there where I can see it.)
