    Celtic Women Christmas Special

I haven't seen any other messages about it so I am a bit surprised.

I caught it on my local PBS channel earlier this week, Monday night I think. Fortunately I set the DVR to record and I can watch it over and over this Christmas season and can skip through the fifteen minute begging sessions during the performance.

I don't recall all the tunes, but I know they do "Carol of the Bells" that is just fantastic, "Holy Night", "Silent Night" (fantastic) and several other Christmas classics. They even do a version of "Let it Snow" that is just awesome, especially for the very very ending which I will leave to you to discover.

No kilts, but definitely something to check your local listings for. Knowing PBS they'll probably play it again.

I kept trying to watch it between what my wife was watching. All I ever could get was the telethon type thing and never actually got to see the performance.

I'll have to check the TV listings to see if it's going to be on again. Thanks for the heads up.

This is some of the irony I tend to find on kilt boards. How many other places does the husband keep flipping over to PBS to catch a holiday singing special while the wife watches her shows instead?

We are an interesting bunch! Is it bad when I have more interest in skirt hangers than my wife does?

That show has been on PBS pretty much daily for the past week... its more of an Irish theme than anything, hence the lack of kilties.

Did I ever mention my wife and I want two girls at least, and we plan on naming them Meav and Mairead?

We have seen parts of this all week and I must say the little fiddle girl can really make that instrument sing!

    Merry Christmas to all.
