A victory
Unlike some of you, my wife has always been fairly supportive of my kilt wearing. However, unless it is a formal event, she has always asked me to wear pants to anything having to do with her work. This year she had two parties for work (office Christmas, and the Board Christmas). I asked what she wanted me to wear. First she said I could wear a tartan to the office party, but she wanted me in my suit for the Board event. All prepared for the Board event, out of the blue she says I can wear a kilt, but just make sure I was wearing the black jacket (Argyle instead of my tweed). So I have now broken the final barrier with the wife.

A toast to Maureen! Give her a hug for me, eh?
Best,
Rex.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

Congratulations! That is great that she's understanding about your kilt wearing. Don't let her down now; dress to kilt

Congratulations, hope all goes well.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Congrats! I love havign a wife that is supportive of my... um... habits. As long as I don't try to go to work kilted more than two days in a row, she really doesn't care where or when I wear my kilt.
I hope you enjoyed the two Christmas parties, and I really hope you enjoy being that much closer with your wife!

Actually, I think all of us here have been supportive of your kilt wearing. That's why we're all here.

I'm so lucky with my wife. She INSISTS that I go kilted everywhere. She actually has gotten all of my jean except for one pair.
