Greetins' from Dallas.
Long time lurker, first time poster. Hello everyone!
I've gotten so much good advice from this forum on making my own kilts (and soon jackets) that I thought I should say hello and maybe even post some pics of my work to see what others thought.
I just finished my 5th kilt a couple days ago and I'm sure one of these days I'll actually make one right! (thanks to this site, of course)

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

from the Northeast corner Boston, Massachusetts. I made my first kilt from images in history books, then purchased Barbara Tewksbury's book to learn what I did wrong (not much). I have purchased four kilts and sewn eight.
I enjoy wearing my own work, though my Avatar is an SWK. --- Steve
