Trike Tours Of Scotland

Today, our local newspaper, The Free Lance Star had a sidebar in the Travel section reporting that the Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh was joined Trike Tours of Scotland to promote chauffer-driven motorcycle tours of Scotland.

Looking at the photos it doesn’t like it would be kilted way of travel, but would be fun!

When I think of touring by trike, I tend to think more of these trikes.

When I think of touring by trike I wonder if I'd still fit in my old 1938 Morgan SS-- never mind where I'd put the luggage! (in this instance it was a choice between spare socks or spare boxers!)

I just wonder about how well thought out those tours are. I wouldn't want to be caught in incliment weather on one of those. Good thing Scottish weather is renowned for it's mild temperment
