what would one wear to see the Pipes and Drums of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards
I know the thread is titled "Kilt knights” but what would one wear to see the Pipes and Drums of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards when they are performing at 1500?
I have a good SWK in Black Watch and I might get my US Army tartan in time from Rocky. I already know that I should wear an all black or brown sporran with coordinating shoes, and belt. However, what else should I wear without looking too dressy or too casual for the occasion?

Back in 2006, when I went to see the Pipes & Drums of the Black Watch and the band of the Welsh Guards in St. Louis, I wore a blue blazer & grey flannel trousers.
I had made a hurried trip from Springfield and didn't have time to change into the kilt.

Check out the casual kilt wear thread, and go with something similar.
I would say nothing formal, but jacket and tie, if you have it. If not, a nice sweater should be OK.
