    kilted at work !!

We got a new LT so I asked if I could come to work kilted figured couldn't hurt and to my suprise he said sure. So US Navy Tartan is part of my uniform today.
LT thought it was great the ribbing from the people at work is so funny I have been laughing all morning.
No camera at work but I'll see what I can do when I get home.
    hoo ya

Yup, it never hurts to ask. Sometimes thinking about asking is harder than doing it. Apparently you have some office or desk job? Great, way to go.

You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!

You probably weren't as surprised as he was that you actually did wear it. Enjoy your day.

Office job and Diver are like oil and water they don't go together.
I wear shorts and t-shirt to work or a sweatshirt if it is cold we aren't like the reg Navy if you ever where around divers you would know we kinda do what we want.
Plus I'm a Chief so I can get away with a little more but yeah LT was shocked I showed up Kilted. I may try it again when I head over to NEDU next month.

Congrats on being able to wear a kilt to work. As a Navy vet I've been wanting to get the Navy tartan. I've been considering a casual or semi-trad from USA kilts.
