Post Hamilton Dry Goods cable-knit socks

For anyone who's looking for a few pair of quality cotton kilt hose for a good price:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360017700800&ssPageNam e=ADME:B:FSEL:US:1123

They're good for those days when it's too warm for wool, but not warm enough (or casual enough) for bare feet. And they're probably the only machine washable and dry-able cable knit kilt hose you'll find.

It say that it's one size only, any idea what that might be?

I wear size 10 shoes american , and they are big enough for bigger feet than I have, but work fine for me. You can shrink them a bit with heat. They are nice socks for the money. I have several pair and wear them in the blacksmith shop in the summer.

Ron also has linsey/wool and merino wool socks the merino are nice and soft and the linsey are light weight. I have to dry rack the linsey and put the merino in the dryer to shrink just turn inside out.

I've got some of those. Rather comfortable, but a little breezier than my wool-blend piper socks. Really like the black ones, but I find I have to wear a pair of black compression socks under them, as they get a little transparent.
