Grease or Fat on your kilt?
How do you remove a grease stain or cooking fat from your kilt?......
Well I will tell you! Get a good size piece of brown paper (the type you would rap a parcel with) place it over your stain mark and get as hot an Iron as you can (no steam) and using the tip of the Iron press the kilt using the brown paper between the Iron and the kilt. Keep moving the brown paper to a fresh area so as not to Iron the grease back in and don't hold the Iron tip too long in the one place keep moving it. After a few application the Brown Paper will drag the stain out of the fabric.
It also a great way to put in razor sharp sustainable pleats in as well.

So to get "razor sharp sustainable pleats" I have to first spill grease or fat on my kilt?

You might well hide under the chair
No, Grease is not needed to make thew razor sharp pleats ...try it on a pair of trousers first and you will see what I mean....its an old army trick to get sharp creases in your trousers, but it works well on Kilt pleats too.

Somehow I got this thread mixed up with the "Barbeque Presbyterian Church" one ... might come in handy there...
