She was a dancer though, not one of his women - in fact she appeared in the pilot episode "The Cage" so it would have been Pike, not Kirk who would have taken an interest.

Rob,
Actually Vina only appears as a Green Orion (?) Slave girl in The Cage / The Menagerie there is another actual one, Marta an asylum inmate, who tried to knife the good Captain in "Whom Gods Destroy". Marta's exact explanation for her murderous behavior was "he is my lover so I must kill him" (or something to that effect).
Personally I'm rather partial to Sherry Jackson as Andrea in "What are little Girls made of" though Shanna from "Gamesters of Triskelion" was memorable as well!

The man knows his Trek. Incidentally, Marta was played by Yvonne Craig, who also played Barbara Gordon/Batgirl on TV's Batman.

I am only a geek of the original series - although I have the complete TNG on DVD I haven't watched them all yet!
