Heading To Boone, NC
Heading To Boone, NC today....not sure how far it is to Matt's...might just swing over that way and take a peek at some of his workmanship and spy on what you gents have ordered and not received.......just rubbing it in....
Oh by the way.....might just order something while I am there....maybe get fitted for a new kilt...........

According to google - you would have another 150 miles and 3 1/2 hours drive to go after reaching Boone - Not really a side trip!

That's correct. We are a good 3.5 hours west and south of Boone.

It is pretty country and Matt's shop and museum are outstanding. If you have a day for a pleasant drive some nice conversation and look at some early kilts it is something to seriously consider.
