I prefer the "How The Lord of the Rings Should have Ended".

Now I love the books but I did wonder the exact same thing when I first read them.

I loved the Lord of the Rings ending. Always made sense to me. At the end of the third book, I'm like "where were those huge freakin birds at the very beginning?"
