AZ Kilted Brunch (Sunday April 6th, Nat'l Tartan Day)
Greetings fellow Arizonians any other Xmarks that will be in the valley of the sun on Sunday April 6th. As we all know Sunday April 6th is National Tartan Day. The Sonoran Scotsmen would like to invite any fellow kilt wearers out this day to help celebrate with us.
Our regular home bar (Fibber Magees) has a Sunday brunch every week and since National Tartan day falls on a Sunday and most people have to work the following day, we are going to be holding a Kilted Brunch Event. The food at Fibber's is extraordinary, and is NOT your typical "bar food". Plus with each meal you receive a free Mamosa They also have a nice selection of whiskey's and scotch for those that are interested. They have also recently expanded the bar to include a gorgeous patio, as well as a large addition for those busy nights.
Anyways, Fibber Magee's is located on the Southeast Corner of Dobson and Elliot in Chandler, Arizona. We will be gathering at 11:30am that day, and if you have the time and would like to come join us, we would love to meet up with any of you and have share a great day together.
I hope to see you there,
Slainte!

Agh!
I'd love to, but my kilt is still in Ohio, and 11:30 is too early for me to start traveling.
Count me in next time!

Aw, sorry to hear that you're without your kilt right now. I would have love to share a pint with ya. We have kilt nights about once a month so if you're interested in always keeping up to date on upcoming kilt events, we have a seperate group that we all keep in touch. I've just kind of become the liason to the Xmarks group for the Sonoran Scotsmen. Check out www.sonoranscotsmen.com and follow the link to join the group if you're interested.
Hope to see you next time.
Cheers!

I'm making note of it. Thanks.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Oh I forgot to mention that on Sundays starting at 1:00 there is an Irish Jam Sesiun that plays. I personally am not a fan of them, but some others do enjoy their music. I've been going to Fibbers for so long that i've heard all of their songs, and would just prefer that they learn some new songs. Anyways, I hope to see as many of you that can make it next week.
