    x-kilt for baby

    has anyone worked on kid sized kilts? i have started the tiniest x-kilt ever. the pleats are 1 inch and inside pleats are 1/2 inch. we are aiming for a 4 inch over apron and we have a 7 inch drop with a 2 inch fell. this shoulld come together like an adult sized....right? will post the picks of tiny pleats tonight.

    i put the pencil iin the pick for perspective...8 inches for a 7 inch drop...very short.



    this is the begining of the baby pleats. the pleats are done, now to work on the rest of it.

    Can't wait to see. The great thing about baby and young kid kilts is that there is really no taper, so sewing the fell is easy!

    My wife is so cool!
    The pleats are stitched. Dad & baby's are at the same stage! Hopefully more will get done today. Appointments, etc. are occupying a fair bit of time.
