Springtime flu!
I was going to go to the Cabela’s on the Kansas City boarder, but came down with springtime flu! I had it all planned out. I was going to wear my SWK Black Watch and buy some of those Serengeti Safari shirts and possibly some work pants. However, I just kept feeling lousy all weekend. Monday morning I went to the first formation in my duty uniform and straight to sick call. The PA was kind enough to see my discomfort and mucked up lungs that he gave me 24-hour quarters. Perhaps I can do it this weekend if I feel up to it.

Sorry to hear it. I had the FLU last month, it' kicked my butt. Had a fever of 102 for 3 days. Wasn't fun. Hope it doesn't last too long.

That has been going around our call center lately. I've had almost everyone around me out for up to a week. Not touched me.........yet.

Man, that bites - that respritory bug has been going around here lately. I'm still not feeling like I have a lot of energy myself.
Hope you get to feeling better quickly.
PS that Cabelas ROCKS. JC and I spent a packet there when he was home on leave, but I won't mention what we bought 'cause almost all of it goes "Boom". (Hi, Mods!)

I just recently had a cold, which is awkward considering it's been a little warmer... I swear I never get sick in the freezing months but as soon as it gets into warmer weather I get sick.

Unfortunately, you can't really hurry a flu. Rest, liquids, more rest. Get better.
