Rob Roy-The Highland Rogue 1954 by Disney
Greetings everyone. Has anyone seen the Disney made film Rob Roy the Highland Rogue? I just stumbled upon it at Wikipedia and was curious if anyone has seen it, and if so how was it? Is it worth watching?

...and it looks like it's not available from Netflix...
They probably cut it into ten minute segments and ran it on Mickey Mouse Club, knowing Disney.
Although I see that it features Glynis Johns...a very attractive woman in her day. (Pre-teen crush on adorably cute and petite English woman with squeaky voice and a fantastic accent!)

Looking at the Amazon listing and all of the usual Amazon "...if you liked this, check this out..." links, I see that Finlay Currie must have been in every movie made anywhere near Scotland in the 1950's. This puts him on the same level then as Morgan Freeman seems to be at now. When do/did these guys sleep?
It is fascinating, though, to see that you can also get "The Fighting Prince of Donegal" as well...although it looks like the DVD of "The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh" (Patrick McGoohan...oh yeah!) is in the works and you have to get on the pre-order list.

I'm going to transcribe the back of the box they show on Amazon. Forgive me if there is any mispellings, it was pretty hard to read. Also there were two words that I just couldn't make out.
"At last... the best of Sunday night TV is back! It's the legendary TV show popular with Audicences for 29 years. the Longest running prime-time series in Television History (1954-1983). the winner of numerous awards, including seven Emmys. It the Wonderful world of Disney!

But the devious secretary underestimates the fierce Scottish pride of Rob Roy and his eager companions! Experience an epic adventure filled with action and a ???? of Bonny ??????! "
