My boy is a GAEL!!!
Last evening the family took a walk across town to the weekly practice of the Kanawha Valley Pipes & Drums. The Wife is enthused about learning the pipes. She attended last week.
We were welcomed and I was invited to become a drummer. They're a diverse group of folks.
The PM was practicing by himself outside. Every time he paused, Seamus squawked. While he played, the lad was quiet.
As the PM went on to tune the band, the boy remained happy. The sound was LOUD, but he was fine. The snap of the drum at a few feet did not cause so much as an infant's flinch.
As practice progressed we enjoyed being present and we had a good time. We're really looking forward to Bridgeport!
Yep, my boy likes the pipes at five months old! Wife is getting a chanter next month.
