New Stuff
After getting myself a plaid I decided to get myself a Jacobite belt from a friend who primarily makes targes but he's learning some new stuff as well. The Celtic A symbol is the symbol of one of the historic societies I belong to. The belt is 3" wide.
When I told another good friend of mine that I'd finally got a plaid he made me a Jacobite Bonnet, a traditional sporran, all hand stitched, the photo's don't do it justice and a lovely wee sgian dubh, his first attempt I believe, these things are just a wee hobby of his, when I asked him how much I owed him he said nothing, my reward is seeing you wearing it. I can't thank him enough.
All I need now is some authentic hose and shoes and I'm almost a Jacobite!!

It's actually very comfortable to wear, there's a slight curve in the horn which actually takes it away from your leg. Very comfortable in the hand as well.

If you would like one made to order, "Wee Rab" has a website here, his work is second to none. The man's a genius when it comes to leather.
