Just a quick Happy Father's Day for all the dads out there. I'm off to have some breakfast with my girls and then will come home and enjoy a nice cigar.

Without sounding sickly cliched, parenthood has changed me profoundly. I would not change being a dad.

Thankee, and likewise to all the other dads here! We're having a cookout at my father's place this afternoon. He's an 80 year old Navy vet and father of 5 - though unfortunately only two of us offspring will be there today. I bought him the new James Bond novel, and a bottle of Scotch.
My two boys got me the "John Adams" DVD that just came out. Can't wait to watch it...!

We're hosting a family BBQ. My two sons will be coming over, and I got a nice phone call from daughter in Calgary this morning. I love being a dad!
