difficult week.
Just need to share, it has been a strange and difficult week. Last Wednesday I took my wife to the ER due to some abdominal pain. She had to be admitted for gall bladder surgery(sp?). Due to a heavy OR traffic week, she could not get the operation until Friday. Was told by the MD that the operation would take about 1-2 hours, it was about 7 1/2 hours before she was brought back to her room. Appearently her gall bladder was pretty well scarred up, and took longer to remove. I spent 4 days with her in the hospital, they brought me a cot to sleep on in her room. So neither my wife nor myself have been working. She is now home, but needs help around the house. My employer has been very good about me taking the time off, but that does not pay the bills. I am just glad she is now at home.

That is awful. I'm glad you're home now and I hope things can get back to normal soon. I'll be sending good thoughts your way.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Oh that's not fun!
I hope it all gets better from here on. Be thankful for what medicane CAN do these days. I hope she gets well soon!
Hugs!

My wifes and my prayers are with you. We are praying for a quick recovery for your wife and that things get back to normal soon.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
