Late yesterday evening, I got around to reading the responses to my thread on the outrageous orange kilt ensemble.
Our very own Alan H responded with this quote...

LOL
I began to wonder if he had penetrated the layers of secrecy that have surrounded the "Stealth Kilt project" that I have been working on with Lockheed Martin? And if he had, would he have to be liquidated (easy enough for a man who sails off the California coast.)
So, I asked my superiors and designers what they knew. No one knew anything.... Quick calls to the FBI and the CIA also revealed that, as far as they knew, the project was still secret.
Coming back to the project office, I called in the lead designer and informed him of this site and the fact that there may be literally hundreds of gentlemen and women who would help us field test the product.
Reluctantly, he agreed to a demonstration for the rabble. There is one condition, there must be a non-disclosure agreement for all here. You should also understand that the only kilt in existence is still in a prototype stage (as you will see) and still distorts the air around it.
How is it made you ask? Well the carbon composite fibers are carefully woven into the wool fabric, thus deflecting the ambient energy nearby... So, here is the grand unveiling....
For any who are interested, this is 18 oz fabric and it is pleated to the sett...

That's great.
Q: “What’s under the kilt?”
A: “Why, nothing. See.”
With my luck, I'd be standing in front of a billboard advertisement for underwear.

Well done!
How much will one of those run me? I understand it's till in development but I'm just looking for ballpark figures here.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

How do you know? And, don't lay the kilt down anywhere.. you'll never find it again.
