    Jacket Conversion

I'm placing this here, because many folks may never enter the DIY forum to see this accessory and as it is not something that I "Did Myself", so it really wasn't DIY.

I made the walking staff and silver fox sporran here, but XMarksTheScot's own vmac3205 just finished and sent me the following Harris Tweed Jacket Conversion and I'm very impressed with the jacket and the cost for it ($75 for jacket, conversion and shipping!) so I thought I'd share it all with you. The waist pockets are still functional, she made the braided epaulets and the cuffs. The buttons are made by Victoria's husband and they even included extras!) Top notch work and I can't recommend it highly enough if you are in the market for such a jacket!

Fantastic, I may have to go to a Goodwill store and get a jeekit to have modified.

I looked for one at my local shops, but couldn't find one that fit. Luckily Victoria had some in her 'inventory.'

Thanks for the kind comments all.
