Investment Help - Willing to pay...
I'd really like to talk to somebody about investing my money the right way and making sure I get the best bang for my buck. I'm willing to pay for the service if need be. I'm usually pretty good with my money, but I need somebody "professional" as I have a lot of life-changing things coming up and need to make sure my family is protected. Started about April of next year I'd like to start setting up my long-term and short-term investments for the long haul, and would also like help with that.
Basically for now, I need some sort of account that can start off small and grow fairly rapidly, (read: 1/2 my paycheck added bi-weekly for 4 months.)
I'd like a short period ~90 days, as I'm leaving in 120 days and the money will need to be available. I realize the short term will keep me limited as far as decent interest, but that's ok if the money is in a good place and at least making me something.
I'd like to avoid standard savings accounts as they tend to call my name, especially when I see something I like and it's so easy to get access to the money.
I've looked into money market accounts at my bank, but the penalties for small balances and the required opening balance have me at a snag.
Anyway, if anybody can help, please do let me know. I appreciate it!
