It's a dang shame when I have to come into work and can't figure these things out at home. I just got my kilt belt from Rocky at USA Kilts, and couldn't figure out how the buckle attached before I had to leave. I have the Marine Corps buckle from Stillwater kilts.http://stores.channeladvisor.com/Sti...0Belt%20Buckle Now this buckle has a wide flat metal "loop" on one end, but the other end has a smaller hook form at the other end. The end of it faces back under, if I am making that clear. It isn't clear to me how the hook end hooks to anything. And sadly, I think the belt is too small, too! This is getting frustrating. Can someone please help?
Did you get the standard belt from Rocky? About 1.5" wide? "Please read before buying a belt and buckle We sell 2 types of belts and 2 types of buckles (click the pictures to enlarge). In the first section below, you'll find 2.25 inch wide Kilt Belts and Kilt Belt Buckles to fit those belts. In the second section, you will find standard 1.5 inch wide belts and buckles to fit our standard belts. Please note that the Kilt belt and Standard buckles will not work together (and vice versa)." No, got the 2 1/4 inch kilt belt. But, looking at a webpage, I think I figured it out. I think the velcro end needs to go through "loop" on the buckle and back on itself, then the buckle hooks on to the metal "loop" on the other end of the belt. A side note-Emailed Rocky for help, and the guy emails me back from home. That guy is customer oriented to the extreme! Said if I have any other troubles, to give him a call. Too bad I have to steam over it until the morning! These mids can be killers!
