kilted at the Sci Fi Convention / Suzie Plakson
This weekend myself and friends from our Star Trek club attended Babelcon 3 convention over in Baton Rouge LA., it was a really nice con and we all had a great time. I just wanted to mention one of my highlights that I thought our Trek fans on the forum would like, which was meeting the lovely and talented Suzie Plakson, who portrayed Worf's girlfriend K'Ehleyr, as well as a few other aliens on various Star Trek series. She is a talented actress and singer, full of great stories, a tall beautiful redheaded woman, and a class act all the way. Suzie was at the con all weekend, and took time to greet and chat with any fans that approached her, not only at her panels and autograph table, but at also at a 'VIP meet and greet' cocktail party the con had on Friday night, which is where I got to meet her. The best part of that meeting was that I heard her before I saw her, and what I heard was "Hey, A man in a kilt!"

Wow! What a gorgeous woman. I'm always grateful that such creatures exist to remind me of the finer things about being a human being.

I hated to see them kill off her character.

couple more from Babelcon

With Suzie at the autograph table.

This was at the VIP party. not a great pic, she was being assaulted by camera flashes. In case you're wondering, I am 5'9, Suzie is a little over 6'1, and just turned 50.

For the Battlestar fans, here's Capt.Apollo / Tom Zarek , Richard Hatch. A fun guy, looking great at 63.

Last but not least, Kaylee from Firefly! OK, not the real Kaylee, but a awfully cute Baton Rouge version, She just won that medal for the trivia contest, I kind of helped her out from the audience with a few hand signals

Didn't Suzie Plakson also appear in Star Trek Voyager as Q's ex-other half in an episode where Q was attempting to "wine & dine" Captain Janeway (the Q continuum's civil war)?

Yes, she was the "female Q" on Voyager, the Vulcan Dr.Selar and Klingon K'Ehlyer on Next Gen. and the Andorian Tarah on Enterprise. As well as tons of other TV and Movie roles.

Oh, I can't believe I didn't catch the Andorian Tarah on Enterprise, being that I'm a big Enterprise fan. Maybe it was the makeup:

I kinda suspected she played the Vulcan Dr.Selar though.
