New Story - Any Volunteers?
Okay, I am starting a new story. The ideas are just bouncing around in my head and I have to do something with them. However, I don't plan to post them while Panache's and Pleater's stories are being developed. Besides, I might get some more ideas from them.
But anyway, does anyone really want to be in it?
I have to give the usual disclaimer that I may or may not use your character if you volunteer. I have already included a couple of people in the story.
I have a special disclaimer for this tale. Even if I used your character before, they may not behave the same in this story due to the peculiar nature of the tale. (Sorry, that's the most I can tell you.)

Hey Dave! I am always open to having my online avatar developed, that is, if you can find me in the hole I was dropped in after the stealth kilt incident.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

I'm in.
My story might take a while - I am being mother to a common swift, an Apus apus, cute little thing but it is time consuming. I can catch the flies, but I don't have the delivery system of the parental swift, so feeding takes time.
I hope to see it set off for Africa, as that is what they are programmed to do, before I go on holiday, which will be without a computer.
I think that Panache is also taking the long view on his tale - so if your muse becomes impatient, don't wait.

As always, Dave, you can count on me to assist. But this time I'll bring body armour.
