Harris Tweed score!
So, not kilt related, but nice none-the-less. I know there are plenty of others who love Harris Tweed, so thought I'd post this. I found it today while Nikki and I shopped some antique stores. It cost me $28.

Congratulations! Are you thinking of kiltifying this bad boy or will you leave him be?

I love my Harris tweed jacket, if it just had not shrunk in the closet over the past 20 years. But my son is getting good use of it now. Talk about nice heavy wool kilts being expensive! At $28 you found an excellent deal, these babies like a good kilt will literally last a lifetime. I'm sure you'll get many years of great use from it.

Nice score Bradley! I think that would make a nice conversion, but great for trousers as well.

It would make a good conversion, I definitely agree. I certainly considered it. But, in the end, I chose to keep it as is so that I have a nice tweed jacket for those "non-kilted" situations. Who knows... it may become kilt converted at some point before all is said and done...
