Photo Request

I had my first ever photo request this afternoon while I was having lunch at a small Italian cafe near the office. I wasn't wearing anything special, just a cheap, off-the-peg Freedom Casual kilt, nevertheless, a family of tourists asked if they could have a photo.

Their English was very good, spoken with a soft USA accent, but when speaking together they spoke "non-Catalan" Spanish, so I presume that they were from America but North or South I couldn't tell. They were a very nice family and I was happy to grant their request.

I hope that they have a better holiday from now on since it's been raining, sometimes heavily, round here for the last week or two.

Isn't wearing the kilt fun?!!

Sometimes it feels so nice when the tourists want a photograph because you know you are helping to make their memories.

My most memorable photo request was from a group of young women on a 'Girls' Day Out'. Each of the 7 women insisted on a photo with me. The power of the kilt!

It (photo request) happens to me about every third outing or so. Maybe I should charge a fee? Nah, it's more fun this way.
