Anyone Going to Dragoncon?

For those who don't know, Dragoncon is one of the largest Geek/Comic/Gaming/Freaky-fun cons in the country and takes place in Atlanta on Labor Day weekend.

I'll be there helping with the Warhammer Fantasy gaming and was wondering who else might be going. I know Turpin has been before, but I'm not sure who else might show off how to wear a kilt. (Last year I saw way too many kilt don'ts there)

Dragoncon is always a Hoot. I used to work at the bank that was attached to the host hotel and it was always one of things we worker bees would look forward to. If you have never been to one, it is worth your time.

I won't be there but would like to be. For those of you who are going you might want to check out The Brobdingnagian Bards who will be performing. Fun group playing "Celtic Geek" music. Marc Gunn of said group also does the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast which has been discussed here before. (Search is your friend.)

Anyhow. I'll be in the miniatures gaming area most of the weekend if anyone feels froggy and wants to stop by.

I think the best reason to go is for the people watching.

I told Jim that he might be able to go next year. I considered bringing him this year, but he is recovering from surgery.
