I am thankful for...

My beautiful, caring wife, who is as goofy as me.
My darling, spoiled daughter.
My 2 great stepkids.
My 6 wonderful grandkids.
The fact I am still breathing & upright... everything else is a bonus.
That I get to make other people smile.... even if it's at my own expense.
That I learned, a long time ago, that money does not make a man rich.
That I have a roof over my head, and food in my belly.
That I have a fun, large family.
That I can choose to enjoy life, rather than worry about the next catastrophe the news is reporting.
That I have a great bunch of in-laws.
Two bumbling, slobbering, four-legged mega-beasts, who wag their tales at my mere presence.
That my father taught me to be self-sufficient, self-entertaining, and inquisitive.
That I can wear a kilt.

What are you thankful for?

Since it is my Birthday, the fact that I am still upright and moving (albeit a bit more slowly than I used to)
My Wonderful, Loving wife of 50 years
And a wonderful loving family
And many friends
All of God's many blessings over the years that often I didn't appreciate at the time.

I'm thankful for having a wonderful family.
For being with my loving wife for the last 12 years.
For living in a country that, despite the troubles we have, is still free and open.
For doing what I have done to help others around the world.
For being able to serve with the greatest men and women in the world in the pursuit of your liberty at the expense of mine(Not Kidding, it is my honor).
For my three "kids", my loving Labs.
For having my health, that I too often ignore.
For being able to provide for my family.
For getting to electronically know all of you, and look forward to personally meeting as many as I can in the future.
