Kelso WA Highlander Festival
The Kelso Highlander festival on Sept. 13th and 14th will be the venue for the MacKenzie AGM. It's a great small town celebration and involves the entire community. It's also free, which is a very good price. Not only will there be the regular athletic events, but shinty (Cammanach) will also be played. Stop by the Clan MacKenzie compound and say hi.

Also visit the Clan Lamont tent while you are there.

I thought it was a great festival. It's very small, but there are advantages to the intamacy. We put up 400 sq. ft. of tent space for the MacKenzie Clan gathering and AGM and it was just right. We hosted a "meet and greet" in our hotel room on Friday night, and the Red Lion Inn did a bang up job for the banquet on Saturday night.
For those of you in the northern Oregon, SW Washington area, the Kelso Highlander Festival is getting better every year. Please consider attending the second weekend in September.
