Luck! You don't have to regimental to wear a kilt... but you should keep that a secret.

Whoa! I just notice that you're a local! Which is it, Chesapeake or Merritt Island?

I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Welcome! I assume you are not in the Bay but nearby . There are quite a few of us in the DelMarVa tidewater. I am in Gaithersburg MD myself. As far a going regimental, that is between you and anybody intimate enough with you to know. Otherwise, wear what makes you comfortable that is the point. Most Highland dancers wear black briefs, if that helps.

Take the Do's and Don't with a grain of salt. Get yourself a copy of Charles Thompsons book "So you're going to wear the kilt". This book is full of invaulable advice and well walk you through almost everthing. As to your "regimental" question, here is a good link to look at.
