Hunting McLeod news
I regret to inform Hunting McLeod fans that fiddler Corey Walden has annouced that he is leaving the band. January 10th in Fort Lauderdale, FLA will be his last show. He has been with the band since day one but feels that it is time for him to move forward. At this time the status of the band has yet to be determined. Being the adopted band of SOKS, we hope that they continue in a new and exciting direction with a new fiddler. In the meantime Corey will be fulfilling all his dates with Hunting McLeod as well as continuing with his work with the Scottish Rouges. I will keep you up to date with Hunting McLeod as well as the reinvented Corey Walden.

Major bummer, Grant. Corey and HM are a big draw at the Blairsville games here in Georgia.

Oh, man...
I just became acquainted with them, this year... the wife and I enjoy them immensely, especially his on-stage antics.

Seven Nations lost Dan Stacey and survived. I'm sure HM can do the same. What a shame, though. I remember how depressed I was to learn that Neil Andersen was leaving 7N after Big Dog and the Road Kill CD's... What a shame when a great band looses a great musician.

What a drag... but I can tell you that musicians (I'm one myself) have a hard time staying in one place. With that said I hope that fans don't have any hard feelings.

I know that this is a month late, but...
Please pass my thanks to Corey when you see him. He has given me a lot of enjoyment over the years and he's a tremendously talented musician, and a helluva nice guy. Maybe next time I'm in Burlington I'll get to see him, along with you guys, again!
