Kilties at a swing church swing dance

Last night my lovely Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess and I attended a church swing dance. Fellow X Marker and piper Andrew Lenz Jr. was there as well. We received lots of compliments and I overheard several people talking about the "handsome kilted men".

My kilt was remembered from last year's dance as Andrew had one person approach him asking "if he was the wonderful dancer from last year?". Andrew (who doesn't dance) had to shake his head no. I thought he should have told them "no, but see how well the other guy can play the pipes".

A really swell evening filled with good people and good fellowship.

Here are a couple of photos (The theme "Under the Sea")

    Cheers

    Jamie

You both look wonderful, and the dress star is wearing certainly fits the "Under the Sea" theme. I do however question the Balmoral for a function such as this, nonetheless you both look wonderful.

The cocktail and appetiser hour was held outside the church.

I was going to say glad you were not wearing it indoors, but I know you know better, personally I would have left the Balmoral at home, but that's me. I still say you both look great.

Nice to see the X Marks tartan out and about at something other than kilt night. I think some of us (who me??) forget that its a beautiful tartan in its own right and well suited to many social occasions.
